After months in the making, the debut album, “Electric Beanstalk,” from TKettle is finally out and ready to fill your ears with glitchy goodness and twangy delights. With this 8-track release, the Colorado-grown guitarist/producer, known in the real world as Tyler Gettel, lends a unique new contribution to the budding musical subgenre that fuses electronic production with folk, bluegrass and Americana sounds to create tunes that defy genres and fits neatly into the Colorado music scene. Whether you’re into banjo pickin’, glitchy synths or gritty bass, there is surely a song on “Electric Beanstalk” that you will connect with. This freshman LP is about as strong as they come, and it is an absolute blast from start to finish. The album is available for free download, but, as always, we encourage everyone to show your support by donating a few bucks or at least spreading to word.

“Electric Beanstalk” represents a fusion between musical influences. I’ve always loved acoustic instruments. My journey in music started with acoustic guitar and eventually led me to banjo. With this album I wanted to take these acoustic ‘roots’ and meld them with my love of heavy electronic music. It’s a reminder of the balance between humanity and technology we experience in everyday modern life.
