Welcome back to Pump The Jam! 2014 was an amazing year for the scene but in that same breath 2015 seems likely to surpass it. Denver was particularly spoiled with it’s allotment of great shows and that doesn’t seem to have changed as infamous livetronica act Particle is set to play the Bluebird Theater this Saturday.

Formed in Los Angels in 2000 the quartet known as Particle were one of the first groups to fuse electronica with rock and funk giving birth to the booming livetronica genre we know today. The band members, led by frontman Steve Molitz, are all known for their improvisational prowess which has helped the band bridge the gap between EDM and jam music and put Particle in high demand across the country.

By 2006 Particle slowed down their touring schedule and entered a semi-hiatus state. During this time Molitz went on to tour and record with a slew of high powered artists but was eventually pressured to take Particle back on the road full time in 2014. The band is currently back on the road and working on two full length albums set to be released in 2015.

As aforementioned Particle will be stopping by the Bluebird this Saturday with Allen Aucoin (Disco Biscuits) sitting in on drums so grab a ticket and hydrate yourself because this dance party is going to be fierce.
