Queen City Festival is bringing together a young, eclectic line up of artists that reflect the booming population of Denver, CO. On August 12th and 13th the festival will bring hip hop, R&B, and electronic artists from around the country to City Hall Amphitheater. With a focus on contemporary artists who utilize past and present elements in their music, the lineup for the 2 day festival mirrors the growing diversity in the city. Esta Based in Southern California and part of the Los Angeles-based Soulection imprint, Esta is a rising star within the future music ecosystem. Masego Masego is a Jamaican rooted, Jazz Vocalist, Saxophonist and Producer. His live performance is not to miss as he brings a witty and fun personality to his shows! Taylor McFerrin Coming from Brooklyn, Taylor McFerrin is a jazz/soul/electronic musician and producer. The newest signee to Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label his shows are a perfect blend of live and experimental electronic music. Michael Christmas Boston born and now LA based, Michael Christmas, is a tried and true up and coming rapper who covers a wide range of obscure topics in his songs with charm and wit. Louie Lastic From the VA/DC area, Louie Lastic, is a producer who pioneered and continues to evolve the new sound: Future Bounce, a mix a hip-hop and electronic dance. Reese Reese, who is now going by Reese LaFlare, brings energy with his hip-hop and rap beats all the way from Atlanta. Waldo Hailing from Grand Rapid’s, Michigan, Waldo combines his smooth flow with eccentric up-tempo beats to create some of the most promising music we’ve heard in awhile.
