Alright, alright I’m back for real this week, hopefully you all enjoyed the extra long playlist last week. Today we’ve got all jams from all across the board, from mellow and funky to over-the-top showstoppers. Let’s dive right in.

“Dancing is poetry with arms and legs.” -Charles Baudelaire

• I’m at a bit of a loss for words for the headline this week; I want to call it peculiar but that doesn’t really do this track justice. It’s the latest original from ManiezzL, a duo who aren’t exactly known for the most typical productions, ‘Equal Game’ has honeyed synths poured all over it, but the unique and chilling vocals from David Ladeger really make the track for me

• Recently Joseph Westphal laid his own take on the heater ‘Soulmate’ from the nu disco super team Kungs, Mozambo and Pakem. It was a great track but Westphal brings something fresh to the mix and further establishes his already acclaimed remixing chops.

• My personal discovery this week was Pegato, yet another quality trop house artist out of Norway. I’m not sure if he just decided to start up a SoundCloud page this week or what, as he’s loaded up a couple dozen tracks in the past few weeks. So I may not be sure on how new they actually are, but they seem to be that top-notch chill tropical house sound we’ve come to expect from…Norway. I’m not sure that’ll ever make sense.

‘Hold Me Up’ seethes with all the big line banging, dirty disco heat you could want.

• Alright, enough with the chillers, you need something to kick the weekend up a notch. Throttle, as usual, is here to help. His latest remix of ‘Hold Me Up’ seethes with all the big line banging, dirty disco heat you could want. This guy consistently demonstrates a truly unique ability to skate between nu disco funk and electro floor crusher.

Pat Lok came to represent this week with a take on the summer jam that is sadly growing old as this summer approaches. Lok has turned up The Knock’s heater ‘Classic’ by bringing in some sexy piano breakdowns then some of his signature deep flavor. This is the club song of the weekend to keep an ear out for.

If you’re looking to drop some boxers this weekend, this is the track for you.

Dennis Kruissen and Chris Meid are playing for the same team again as they take on The Weeknd’s ‘Devil May Cry’. It’s one of those tracks that really can say volumes just in the title. Smooth european house infused over some seriously sexy vocals. If you’re looking to drop some boxers this weekend, this is the track for you (yeah I gender reversed that sexual implication, what of it?)

• ‘Imposter’ from Bearson is his latest original, and a track that very nearly stole the headline this week. But I had to go with something that wasn’t quite so chilled out. Anyhow this track takes things a little bit down the future route for Bearson, and I’m thrilled to see this development. Add in these hypnotic vocals and we’ve got one of my favorite originals of the year.

Thanks for dropping by once again you disco dancing fools! Of course if I missed anything please be sure to let me know over on SoundCloud. Happy Friday!
