As Arise Festival 2014 creeps up on us there’s just more and more that we can’t wait to see happen.  Today the white-hot works of up-and-comers Templo and Psydell have us in a tizzy, and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the Souls Rising Stage!  Let’s dive in.

Hailing from Chicago, the kid Psydell has been on the up-and-up for quite some time now and with very good reason.  Seemingly boundless creativity has let Psydell’s expansive sounds cross genre lines and blend the worlds of  glitch, ambient, and funk into an unstoppable mix that’s truly his own. More importantly he’s got a fresh new EP ready to take over with ‘Overview’ and if the teaser is any indication we’re in for a huge release to mark the next step in this artist’s career.  We’re hoping he lays some of this gold on us during his set at the Souls Rising Stage when he kicks things off Sunday at 5:15

Local-boy Liam Shea aka Templo will hit the Souls Rising stage ready to make some new fans, and we’re ready to be converted.  Defining the sound of Denver Downtempo Templo obeys no rules of structure, BPMs or composure instead relying on his finely tuned ear to produce tracks that progress and satisfy.  When listening to Templo’s set with us brace yourself for an hour of uncontrollable atmospheric sounds and beats that may well compel you to dance until the sun comes up.  Templo hits the Souls Rising stage at 11:45 on Friday, be there!
